Leah Squires
SENIOR Associate
Leah partners with individuals, teams, and organizations to facilitate learning. She leads with questions—drawing on her background as a researcher and strategist—to help partners translate insights and ideas into practice. Leah believes that curiosity, more than certainty, enables clear direction.
Her own inquiry has inspired an eclectic mix of experience and expertise. She has worked as an evaluator, baker, community organizer, and editor, among other roles. With a career spanning international development, philanthropy, and social services, Leah sustains a global network—from the Middle Atlas to the Great Lakes.
As a facilitator, Leah orients around connection as the compass for meaningful change. Her calm presence allows groups to slow down, creating a collaborative space where people can attune to themselves and to each other. By helping people listen deeply and learn together, she supports the quiet growth of resilience—within individuals and across their communities.
Leah holds master’s degrees in Public Policy and Middle Eastern and North African Studies from the University of Michigan; she earned her bachelor’s degrees in English Literature and Ethnomusicology from the University of Rochester. She is currently pursuing an Associate Certified Coaching certification with the International Coaching Federation and is deepening her understanding of nonviolent communication.
Outside of work, Leah’s curiosity carries her elsewhere. She is most at ease immersed in a sci-fi novel at home or wandering a hiking trail almost anywhere in the world.
