Gentry doane

Senior Associate

Gentry loves the beautiful mess that is human relationships. With the understanding that, at our core, humans are imperfect beings seeking meaning and connection, Gentry finds joy in exploring precisely that with his clients to unleash new possibilities. He honors the courage it takes to face fears and mistakes without hiding behind a mask and illustrates how gaining clarity about  these vulnerable components of identity can be used as catalysts to foster individual and organizational progress.

Gentry's fervor for development and learning took root while studying his passions: language, politics, sustainability, and identity. He holds a bachelor's degree in Spanish, German, and Communication Studies from Doane University in Nebraska (USA), as well as a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School in Berlin.  He is currently completing his ICF Coaching Certification in transformational coaching with Animas.

He was a Fulbright scholar and English teacher in Tübingen, coordinated Young Leaders Conferences in Armenia, Kazakhstan, and the People's Republic of China, and most recently worked as a Manager for Volunteer Engagement in a nonprofit organization committed to the transformation to a circular economy.

A playful character at heart, he enjoys using his hobbies of singing in chamber choir, swimming laps with his friends, and daily play sessions with his Cocker Spaniel puppy to move out of his head, into his body, and back to his inner child.
