Gentry doane

Senior Associate

Gentry helps people do the hard inner work that leads to real outer impact — with clarity, compassion, and a good sense of humor. Known for his calm presence and thoughtful challenge, he creates space for reflection that leads to meaningful shifts. Clients and colleagues describe him as both grounded and bold: a trusted partner who navigates complexity while staying deeply human.

As a coach, facilitator, and learning architect, he partners with executives and emerging leaders to build adaptive capacity, lead with conviction, and tap into their sources of passion and purpose.

His international career spans teaching as a Fulbright Scholar in Germany, designing global leadership programs, and building community in the circular economy movement. He holds a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School in Berlin, an ICF-accredited certification in transformational coaching from Animas, and undergraduate degrees in Spanish, German, and Communication.

Outside of work, Gentry finds renewal at the gym — a personal practice rooted in resilience after a critical car accident and years of rehabilitation. For him, it’s about honoring the process and showing up for himself the way he invites others to do.

He believes leadership is both brave and deeply human — and he’s here to help people do both well.
