Michal’s passion is to provide the best leadership training available, even to those who do not hold positions of authority in organizations or communities, and to assist them in developing the ability to face complex challenges and drive change in the systems in which they operate, their lives, and beyond.  

Michal has worked in leadership development for over a decade in Israel and around the world. She managed leadership and community building projects and programs in Europe and Israel while working at the Jewish Agency's Global Leadership Institute, where she learned to teach Adaptive Leadership. She previously worked as a Senior Overseas Representative for the Maccabi World Union organization in Europe, where she was based in Budapest, Hungary, and worked with dozens of organizations on organizational-community development and leadership development. Michal has spent the last four years in Israel working in leadership development with civic and social organizations as well as leadership programs. As a social activist, she founded, together with partners, a cooperative pub in Jerusalem and supports groups of citizens who want to take more ownership of their neighborhoods and cities. She helps implement the shift from consumers to citizens. 

Michal is a Kansas Leadership Center (KLC) certified Leadership Teacher and Tel Aviv University Group Facilitation program graduate. She earned a bachelor's degree in Sociology-Anthropology and Spanish and Latin American Studies from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem, as well as a master's degree in Education with honors. 

 She is a strong people person who defines her leading and most dominant hobby as "speaking with strangers." She is also a cyclist, swimmer, and painter.
